1 1/2 hours later, adults (who are now dying for a cup of coffee): - You have to come inside, it is freezing out here!
Children: - No, we don't want to!
I keep forgetting to bring my camera when we go places. And beacuse I have an old phone (and not a fancy one with a good camera) I don't really want to take photos with my phone. But sometimes I do. And they always end up looking like crap.
Christmas came and went. Santa was too shy to come and visit, instead he left a note and a treasure hunt which led to a huge Lego space ship and two very pretty dress-up dresses. Yay!
We are having a couple of lazy days between christmas and New Year's. Very nice.
I went through the photos from 2010 and there weren't too many of them. We haven't been using the camera as much as we used to this year and that's why my posts here are not as frequent as they used to be.
But enough of the excauses already! The kids are doing great (Dylan had a haircut, unfortunately a bad one), Lyndon has a sore shoulder (from his operation) and I am looking forward to not going to work for 10 days.
We are keeping ourselves busy with all sorts of activities to make the loooong wait before christmas a bit easier.
Today is Lucia Day. The kids have been practicing for weeks and early this morning they got dressed up and gave a lovely performance with all their friends for parents, siblings and grandparents.

Dylan just started spelling! The note says cat,cow, lamb. This, my friends, is a huge deal!
